Tuesday, November 24, 2015 – On Wednesday, November 25, 2015 Roy and I will celebrate 43 years of wedded bliss – well not exactly total bliss but mostly bliss!! We’ve been together as a couple for 45 years since I was 16 and once I made 18 we got hitched!! My husband means the world to me. He makes me laugh with his wicked humor and silliness. He is the missing part to my brain and saves me more times than I can count when my brain hiccups and doesn’t want to work. He can and does fix ANYTHING, be it a household repair, RV repair, automotive repair, toy repair, computer repair, any repair. He has saved us millions in repair bills over the years with his technical abilities. He’s grown old with me and sometimes we even like being old, since we get to do it together. He loves the Lord and is a Godly man. That may not be first in this list but it is absolutely first in my heart. We are loving this RV life that we have together and getting to see so much of our amazing country together. Happy Anniversary to my dear love Roy!
Our family and my sisters family gathered for Thanksgiving dinner at Harriett’s house this past Sunday. The only thing missing was our oldest son’s family. We hope that one day he will choose to be part of our family gatherings again. We all miss them.
Here’s a photo with the whole family (except me, picture taker) right after we thanked God for the food. Chip’s girlfriend Misty and her daughter Kallie are the newest additions to our Chauvin/Roussel family. We miss all of them when we are on the road. It was great to get to catch them all up on our travels and what we’ve been blessed to see and do.
Our little slice of Heaven in Amite at night. The green lights are shining under our RV. It’s a Roy thing!
Boots, our truck, got new brakes today and something else that was squeaking was replaced. We are enjoying some beautiful weather here. Highs have been in the 50s and 60s with plenty of sunshine! This will be a quiet week for us and we are enjoying that!
Ya’ll come back now, ya’ hear!!
